• Served as judicial arbitrator, settlement officer, and judge pro tem in the Sacramento, Placer and El Dorado County courts.
• Frequently requested speaker on various dispute resolution topics and has written handbook “Identify and Improve Your Mediation Skills”
• Member of the Sacramento Superior Court Pro Tem panels, mediating and arbitrating a variety of issues, including but not limited to, real estate, environmental, public entity, products liability toxic torts, construction auto and premise claims, and medical malpractice claims.
• Provided seminars to Joint Powers Associations administering Self Insurance Programs to various small state agencies and school districts throughout Northern California, explaining ADR and the optimal use of mediation and negotiation techniques.
• Served as a Pro-Tem Settlement Conference Judge in Sacramento, Placer and Nevada Counties in excess of twenty-five (25) years; served as a private mediator for law firms in the Sacramento area, San Francisco area, as well as the Los Angeles area.
